Our Founder
Our R&D director, Limin Kew graduated from one of the top universities in Asia, the National University of Singapore specializing in both Biomedical Science, Molecular and Cell Biology in 2004.
More than a decade back, she saw an obvious gap in the South East Asian skincare market.
Most skincare ranges were developed for temperate countries and Caucasian skin.
There were simply very few natural skincare ranges specially developed
for Asian skin in hot humid climates.
This meant that these off-the-shelf skincare products would not be dedicated to maximum efficacy in tropical countries with increased sun exposure and humidity.
Many of them were also laded with harmful chemicals and slowly caused side effects like skin sensitivity, eczema when the body chemical threshold was reached.
She then began her incisive R&D efforts into the natural skincare specialized for South East Asian climate & skin types.
Her philosophy is simple:
skincare must be both profoundly effective and a pleasure to use. Every formula is born from rigorous research into how humidity, heat, and skin biology interact. Each ingredient is selected for its specific efficacy and sensory properties, ensuring it delivers visible results without compromising on an elegant, weightless feel.
After numerous years of developmental and dermalogical trials, the pioneer range of potent natural humidity-proof skincare skincare products was developed in 2008.
Her range of humidity-proof skincare products are among the pioneers in natural skincare that are vegan, gluten-free, paraben-free, silicone free and talc-free in South East Asia. Her skincare ranges and expertise till date are actively engaged by Asian clientele.
With more than 10 years of proven skincare formulations under her belt, she was onboarded Singapore Skincare Foundation LLP as it's R&D director to spearhead development of affordable yet potent humidity-proof skincare suited for the ASEAN middle class masses.
